Rodeo in am New York

In yesterday's am New York (12/16) there is a large photo  of a cowboy monster twirling a lasso, with the following caption:

(Title) GIT ALONG LITTLE DOGGIE

"Professional rodeo cowboy Trevor Brazile performs rope tricks in Times Square yesterday.  Brazile, of Decatur, Tx, captured his third consecutive All-Around World title last weekend at the PRCA Wrangler National Finals in Las Vegas.  Brazile is the first all-arounder to win three consecutive titles since Ty Murray in 1989-91." am New York is pretty good for the animals; indeed the same issue has an extensive and favorable article about Candle 79 ("Elegant uptown eatery is cozy, stylish and - surprise - vegan!")  I have spoken to Peter Catapano about previous rodeo coverage and he said he'd consider the issue - but he hasn't.

Email for letters to the editor:  am-letters@am-ny.com  Incl name, phone # and address.  Appx 100 wds or less.  In this coverage, as well as in am New York's last, they don't show the uglier aspects of rodeo - but that is no excuse.
