BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Police acting on a tip have seized more than two  dozen pit

bulls, along with dog fighting equipment, from a home in  Buffalo.

Police say they also found a quantity of drugs, stolen property  and a gun at the home of 42 year old George Malone. He and 48 year old Darrell  Malone of East Amherst face various animal cruelty charges, along with drug and  weapons possession.

Authorities say police found seven pit bulls in  George Malone's back yard that were severely abused. Inside the home they found  dog training and fighting equipment along with two female pit bulls with  litters of eight puppies each.

Officers also found a dead dog inside a  plastic bag in the back yard.
