Animal Gospel

They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain,
For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord
As the waters cover the sea. ~Isaiah 11:9

Frequently Asked Questions

What if you were wrong about the probable alternative meanings of the words translated "fish" in the gospels?

If I'm wrong about the words being mistranslated "fish" in the N.T., as I would understand ichthys and opsarion to mean something else, that doesn't change the Hosea 2:18 Covenant and the age of grace that's finally breaking in on animals. Quite a few New Testament teachings would have been regarded as heresy during Old Testament times, which were in fact the very oracles of God. Jesus never directly opposed compassion towards animals. Isaiah 11 seems to indicate that when the fullness of the knowledge of the LORD is present is when animal cruelty is abolished. So, anything short of this couldn't be the fullness of the knowledge of the LORD, right?

Go on to Why should I concern myself with this covenant since the New Testament seems to say so little, if anything, about it?
