Welcome to IMOM!
This organization and all we do to "Help people help pets" is dedicated to the memory of my beautiful black cat Magic and to all of your pets who are at The Rainbow Bridge with him. May they live in our hearts forever.
Our Mission To better the lives of sick, injured and abused companion animals...ANY companion animal. This is accomplished in part through our "Pets in Need" program which offers financial assistance in obtaining veterinary care in emergency and life threatening situations. To be "Voices for the Voiceless" campaigning and rallying against animal cruelty. Especially pet mills and the pet stores who keep the "millers" in business. Pet mills are by far one of the most vile acts of animal cruelty. The unsuspecting public MUST be educated and made aware of where that adorable little pet in the store window came from. To organize an annual nationwide "Voices for the Voiceless" rally for the purposes of uniting all animal welfare groups and organizations, and to educate the public to the issues surrounding pet mills. Together, we can and we will make a difference.
Our Goals To see a day when we NEVER have to tell a financial aid applicant "we're sorry, but we have no funds available to help your pet". No animal should ever have to be euthanized because their person simply does not have the money to get necessary veterinary care that will save their pets life. To see a day when pet stores only sell food, toys and supplies because there are no more mills to sell them animals. To see a day when animal cruelty is a felony in all states and animal abusers are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. To educate, educate, educate!
We care! About the animals and their people who love them.
