A public quote made by an abusive vet currently under investigation:
"With an open hand, I hit him on the side of his chest trying to get him to lay down.... adding that the dog had a broken back, was in pain and was unable to lay down to receive treatment. I hit him right by the front legs, as soon as I did, it stopped crying."

I would also suggest contacting the following for support and advice for further legal action: the association of veterinarians for animal rights, email: avar@igc.apc.org , telephone (Davis california) 916-759-8108; animal legal defense fund, www.animaljustice.org ; animal protection institute, www.api4animals.org telephone 916-731-5521.
Blessings and for the love of all our nonhuman animal companions on this earth.
