Huntingdon Life Sciences has been exposed for abusing animals again

"I saw co-workers grab the dogs by the scruff, shout and swear at them, swing them by the scruff and slap them...One of the little female dogs had these warts all up her nose and legs...I was told, "Oh she's being put down in a few weeks - it doesn't matter."
-Employee of Huntingdon Life Sciences who worked there in 2005

For the sixth time since 1989, Huntingdon Life Sciences has been exposed for abusing animals, violating animal welfare and good laboratory practice laws, and conducting sloppy research that puts users of HLS-approved products at risk.

This time, it was two employees of HLS who were so disturbed by what they saw there that they sat down with SHAC-UK to discuss it. Accounts of procedures gone wrong, animals denied veterinary care, animals left to suffer, dogs being shaken and thrown around, and manipulation of data make it crystal clear that what was going on in Huntingdon in years past is still going on today. Despite the repeated assurances of Brian Cass that HLS had changed its ways, we all knew the truth of what HLS does to animals, and now workers are confirming what we've known all along. Customers and suppliers of HLS can no longer say that they think Huntingdon is an ethical company or that the abuses have stopped.

To see the full report, including video and photos taken inside HLS in 2005 by a television crew, please visit and follow the "Exposed Again" link.

Read the reports, and then turn your anger into action. Every single company in the "targets" section of worked with Huntingdon in 2005 when the abuses you will read about were going on - paying HLS to do animal testing, or providing them the products and services that made that testing possible. It's time to make these companies pay for their support of animal abuse, and convince them once and for all that HLS is a criminal company that does not deserve their business. So cringe, cry, get mad as hell, and then get out there at their offices and at their doorsteps and do what it takes to close down Huntingdon for good!

Sample Letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

You may not be aware that Actelion are a major custormer of the
world's most controversial animal testing company, Huntingdon Life
Sciences. HLS have a criminal record, and have even at one point had
their license to vivisect revoked because of extreme animal cruelty
and abuse.

Could you please encourage your company to invoke an ethical policy
and refuse to work with HLS. If you are in any doubt how HLS carries
out its animal testing then please watch videos taken inside its UK &
USA labs by undercover investigators:

Thank you. (your signature here)
