PETSMART has announced plans to sell rabbits at its stores across the U.S.A.. This is a terrible blow to abused, neglected, and abandoned rabbits, who are killed in shelters every day. Rabbits are the third most commonly "euthanized" animal after cats and dogs. Most will die at a young age in their cages, alone. (Petsmart also sells "starter kits" for rabbits consisting of tiny cages.)

Snail mail:
PetSmart, Inc.

Phoenix, AZ 85027

Please do not shop at PetSmart and let them know why. Please complain to PetSmart, which has the good policy of NOT selling dogs and cats. Tell them to extend this concern to rabbits and ALL animals. Shop at independently owned pet supply stores THAT DO NOT SELL LIVE ANIMALS.

Also, visit Rabbitwise's web site....

and: House Rabbit Society's web site, for more information on rabbits.
