The Farm Bureau And Advocates Want To Slaughters Horses In Illinios

PLEASE CROSSPOST AND ASK THOSE PEOPLE TO CROSSPOST AND CARRY IT ON TO REACH AS MANY ILLINOIS RESIDENTS AS POSSIBLE.

THE FARM BUREAU AND ADVOCATES WANT TO MAKE ILLINOIS THE ONLY STATE IN THE UNION THAT SLAUGHTERS HORSES. FURTHER, THEY WANT TO ENSURE THE HORSES DIE ONE OF THE MOST HORRIBLE AND FRIGHTENING DEATHS IMAGINABLE.

Few people have witnessed horse slaughter. I have and I can tell you there are few worse ways to die -- but Illinois lawmakers could care less. They complain people cannot afford their horses so they are turning them loose or shipping them to Mexico for slaughter -- instead of being able ship them to slaughter in DeKalb, Illinois so they can make a few bucks. Rather than complain and prosecute these people -- they prefer to torture horses to death.

Folks, there is such a thing as HUMANE euthanasia -- an oxymoron perhaps, but the death is quiet and painless. We humanely euthanize mass murderers -- are the farm folk so callous they happily send their horses to death by torture? Answer. Yes.

Please call your STATE (not federal) representative and STATE (not federal) senator and ask them to OPPOSE the bill that would life the slaughter of horses in IL. This link is an easy way to find who yours is. http://www.congress.org/congressorg/dbq/officials/

The only other state that had slaughter plants was Texas until the citizens had had enough and demanded they be closed -- the Texas state legislature agreed and shut them both down.

If they are able to overturn the current ban on slaughter in Illinois -- trust me -- other states will follow.

From Editor,

I had information concerning a TV Show that Exposes Animal Abuse. I believe it was about slaughterhouses,(I may be wrong on subject) it is an undercover film. It is going to be on TV this month around the 16 of March and may play more than once. I think it is going to be on HBO but I may be wrong. Look for it this month. I am so disappointed I lost the announcement about it. If anyone else has heard about this let me know, just email me with HBO show in subject line, thanks. Lets hope we all see and share it with people that don't know how bad animals are treated.

Thanks, Linda.
