VICTORY FOR THE SEALS
BUT FOR SEALS IN CANADA AND NORWAY THE HUNT IS STILL ON
THIS BABY IS NOT FOR SALE!
THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH!
As you may well know, the European Parliament has finally voted almost unanimously to ban the seal trade in Europe. The final document is to be signed June 5th, and most likely by 2010, no more seal products may be traded in the EU.
Canada and Norway are threatening to lounge a complaint to the World Trade Organization, hoping to undo the European ban! If they ever come forward with such complaint, surely WTO will be hearing our voices, worldwide.
AGAIN, THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH.........to all of you who wrote to the European Parliament through the Anti-Fur Society campaign website. EU received thousands of letters thru our campaign, and for that we are forever grateful to you!
NOW WE CAN FOCUS OUR EFFORTS ON OTHER FUR ISSUES!
