They've Got a Bug Up Their Bottom Round

By Robert Cohen

"Why do you hate me?" "How about because you're a tiny, impotent Nazi with a bug up his butt the size of an emu?" - Conversation about Snyder between Buffy & Cordelia from 'Buffy-The Vampire Slayer'

When it comes to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), the dairy industry has a bug the size of an emu up their collective butt.

In 2009 and 2009, the Humane Society accomplished more than their entire previous 20 years to expose dairy industry abuse to animals.

In fact, HSUS has successfully gotten their undercover videos of life on dairy farms to air on nationally syndicated news shows and have conclusively shown that dairymen are meat producers. Thanks fo HSUS, the public knows that there is no such creature as a California Happy Cow.

The deeper the Humane Society gets inside of dairy industry butts, the more is the dark stench exposed to the American people. Truth hurts dairymen more than anybody can imagine, but here is evidence that the Humane Society represents the bug up dairy industry's bottom round.

The lead story in the March 25, 2010 issue of Hoard's Dairyman, the National Dairy Farm Magazine.

******************************

"The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) collected over $86 million in contributions in 2008, reports the Center for Consumer Freedom. Of those funds, $24 million went to fund-raising more money. Put another way, 28 cents of every dollar goes to raising more funds. Another 30.9 million went to employee salaries with 41 of HSUS employees making over $100,000. Based on Center for Consumer Freedom research, only $450,000 - just half of 1 percent of its total budget - went to organizations that provide hands-on care to dogs and cats."

******************************

Allow me to put it another way. HSUS has evolved from a dog and cat show to a lean/mean fighting machine, recognizing the true enemy.

The dairy industry response is to make HSUS their number one priority. Keep on hunting and haunting them, HSUS!

Whatever the Humane Society is doing, it remains my wish to see them continue! Support the Humane Society by visiting their webpage:
