Global Protests
Organize In Your Community Now

Dear Friends,

On Saturday, October 2, 2010, millions of animal rights activists throughout the world will protest the inhumane confinement, torture, and slaughter of billions of factory "farm" animals. We will hold signs, pass out leaflets, hold candlelight vigils, stage cage-ins, feed-ins, and die-ins, protest, and participate in banner drops and non-threatening civil disobedience.

Our purpose will be to end the suffering -- the skinning, dismembering, gutting, scalding, and drowning -- of billions of alive and conscious animals, and to educate the public about the impact of eating animals on their health, the environment, and animal welfare.

I'm organizing events in the United States for the South Florida area. If you sign up to attend the event, you will receive my updates in the coming weeks as plans are finalized (locations, times, etc.). All you will need to do is show up on October 2 and be prepared to stand up for billions of defenseless animals. I'll cover all the logistics (media, city permits, materials, etc.)

For more information about how you can hold an event in your hometown, please log onto: http://www.wfad.org/actioncenter/

We've seen enough pictures and videos. We've read enough books. We know all we need to know. It's time to take our message to the streets.

On behalf of the billions of animals leading lives of unimaginable suffering, I say to you today, help is on the way my friends, help is on the way.

Each year, more than 55 billion sentient beings are brutalized and killed in the world's factory farms and slaughterhouses. On World Farm Animals Day, caring people across the globe take action to speak out on behalf of these innocent animals.
