Hi, Linda

Your sad tale about your horrible experience with euthanasia bothered me, so I sent the info to my vet who responded as follows:

Pentobarb alone will sometimes do just that! The drug we use has an extra ingredient in it that stops the heart from beating in about 20 sec. B-euthanasia or Euthanisol is the drug of choice.

Thought you'd like to know. My heart goes out to you for such a wretched experience.
