Congressman Roy Blunt
USDA Approves Loan & Bills 533 & 724
Bills 533 & 724, The Protection of Animals Failure.
Open letter:
Elected Officials:
RE: USDA APPROVES LOAN
Bills 533 & 724
Ladies and Gentlemen,
With all due respect, are you aware
of the number of animals that die in shelters everyday?
Why do they die? Breeding, Breeding and more breeding.......
In reality, Hunte is ADDING to deaths, NOT wants or needs!
Bills 533 & 724, The Protection of Animals "FAILED?"
You will NOT PROTECT existing animals but you will
help a corporation bring MORE animals into the world?
THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE!
Puppymill dogs are no better than shelter dogs. Shelter
dogs are in DIRE need of a home WITHIN a matter of a
few days of arriving, otherwise they are euthanized.
Missouri is well known State for Breeders~Puppymillers and Auctions.
The midwest animals are sold nationwide.
I encourage you to attend a Puppymill Auction!
Hunte Corporation purchases from Breeders~Puppymillers.
WHY is there NO mentioned of the Specific Breeders, in which, Hunte purchases
from? Who are they?
WHO IS GOING TO OVERSEE HUNTE? WILL THEY KEEP THEIR GLORIFIED PROMISES?
I also encourage you to make an unscheduled visit to the Millers Breeding
grounds!
Allow me to set the stage:
The animals, Breeders~Puppymillers use for breeding stock, over and over, are
normally kept confined in Small~Stacked Crates their entire breeding life.
Once their reproduction years begin to wither
(approx. 6 to 8), they are thrown away, in shelters or end up dead.
(Some are sick or injured, they die ALONE in a crate before they reach freedom!)
HERE IS WHAT WE SEE.
They are pitiful: Sick, Emaciated, Scared, Nails grown into their pads, Hair
matted with feces and urine, Hernia's, Blind ~ due to untreated eye infections
or scratches, Dog STD's, Deaf ~ due to untreated ear
infections, Tumors, Cysts, Abused physically and or Emotionally,
Unbelievably AGED beyond their actual years, partial limbs missing and or
deformities,
unsocialized (sometimes, making them fear bitters), Paws never touching the
grass (only wire), Never knowing love or kindness ECT.........Some thanks they
get from their owners/captures, after making many years of mortgage payments!
It is WE rescuers, that use our OWN money to save the retired puppymill dogs,
strays, and the unwanteds, due to irresponsible individuals NOT spaying or
neutering.
We bring them into our homes, have them vetted (which includes spay/neuter) and teach them how to trust and love.
When or IF they are ready, we find adoptive families who must meet required guidelines; veterinarian and personal references, pass a home check and a Signed Adoption Agreement.
IF for any reason the adoptive family can NO longer keep said
dog, we require
he/she is brought back to us, as NOT to fall victim in another shelter.
Many of the retired puppymill dogs are not adoptable for health and/or
circumstances caused to them while in the Breeder~Puppymillers hands, Therefore
they live out their lives with our families.
Have you ever stopped to think, Animals are not much different from
children,,,,,they are helpless!
Without a doubt, rescuers are out numbered. We do NOT have endless amounts of
money and Funding from the Government. How would we repay a loan?
Rescuers do NOT make money off GODS CREATURES!
Breeders~Puppymillers Make ALL the Money, Rescuers are picking up after them!
Why would you SUPPORT the birth of MORE animals into this world when there are
TOO many as it is ?
Why NOT Help those who are helping to SAVE lives and put a STOP to the money
making Breeding Frenzy? Why add to the deaths ?
Congressman Blunt had Dog fur pulled over his eyes or was Hunte handing out
slices of a pie?
SAD DAY IN UNITED STATES WHEN MONEY COMES ABOVE LIVES!
*SPEAK FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES*
