After deliberating for only forty minutes, a California jury found 27 year-old Andrew Burnett guilty of felony animal cruelty in the killing of Leo, a 9 year old dog whom he threw into traffic on a busy California highway last February following an argument with Leo's owner.  Sentencing of Mr. Burnett will take place on July 13th before Judge Kevin Murphy.  You can urge Judge Murphy to levy the maximum penalties possible, three years incarceration, against Mr. Burnett by writing to him at:
