Animals In Print
The On-Line Newsletter

From 7 August 2001 Issue

Rottweiler Death

Repo is dead.
She lost her legs
On Sunday,
Her will
On Monday.

The vet killed her
This morning.

On the stretcher
She turned back
And gave me
A sweet, pained,
Fleeting smile.

Po's blessing:
Sweet
Pained
Fleeting
