Animal Liberation Front Press Officer Speaks Nationwide!
Robin Webb, UK Press Officer for the underground animal rights group the Animal Liberation Front (ALF), is currently stuck in the U.S. after being arrested at the National Protest against Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS) December 1st. Now he's bringing his message of support of economic sabatoge and live liberations from coast to coast! Don't miss the event in your city!
For a complete list of Robin's speaking dates, visit: http://www.directaction.info . And check back frequently, more are being added all the time. If you would like to arrange for Mr. Webb to speak near you, contact SHAC USA at 732.545.7560.
From Nov. 30th - Dec. 2nd, 2002, Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty (SHAC) held 3 days of protest activity against Huntingdon Life Sciences's (HLS) 50th birthday (for more information on HLS and why we must close them down, visit http://www.shacamerica.net ). Robin
Webb was a surprise guest speaker at a November 30th speaking event (also featuring Black Panther Party co-founder Bobby Seale, Kinship Circle Director Brenda Shoss, and former ALF volunteer and political prisoner Rod Coronado). (For more information on the ALF, visit http://www.directaction.info and http://www.animalliberation.net ).
Mr. Webb was arrested the next day at a National Protest at HLS's New Jersey facility and held on $50,000 bail for allegedly being the 51st person in a 50 person protest zone. Since that time he has been stuck in the U.S., missing both the holidays and his birthday with his family, after being forced to turn over his passport as part his bail.
Well...Somerset County NJ is going to wish it had let him go home! Mr. Webb is now traveling coast to coast, speaking out in support of the brave men and women of the ALF. Don't miss the event in your city!
Check http://www.shacusa.net daily for updates on the campaign to CLOSE HLS!!
