Greetings from Amoro! - 31 Jan 2005

I wanted to thank you for taking care of me. My new parents changed my name to Jesse but I like it okay. My new home is great! The carpeted staircase is a blast. I can run up and down and get lots of exercise!

Dearest Katrin:

Jesse was nervous the first few days and would hiss at us when we tried to touch him or moved too fast but we were persistent and would pet him anyway. He instantly would start purring and the rest is history. He can't get enough cuddling and loving now. He is always rubbing against us and seems to be quite happy. He even met my mother and a friend of Jeff's this weekend and purred for them, too. NO HISSING! I guess he's been domesticated. He has lots of toys and appreciates life.

Thank you for all you do. We think your rescue center is outstanding and very commendable.

Animalkind Inc.is a not-for-profit welfare, protection, rescue, rights organization dedicated to the compassionate care and humane population control of abandoned, feral and stray cats in Hudson, New York (Columbia County) and the surrounding area. We promote non-lethal prevention of an unwanted litter or litters of kittens through trap, spay, neuter, release (return), (tnr, TNR). An altered cat or kitten is released into a managed colony. Felines living in such colonies are assured kind daily care. Adoption to homes providing love and care for cats and kittens is encouraged. We also provide low or no cost spaying and neutering assistance to low income pet owners and help increase public awareness and education through the media, special events, and publications to promote compassion, respect, and kindness towards all animals.
