Letters
From Rubyanna - 6 August 2007
Hello Katrin,
Our family enjoyed the visit to your place yesterday. Mischief and Olivia are adjusting well to their new home and family. Mischief is very relaxed and cuddly, and calmly accepts the extra attention. Olivia became very lively in the evening, and delighted our little girls with her antics. She likes to tease Mischief.
I'll tell you what happened when we got home: Ashley, the five-year-old who sat by the door holding Mischief, was playing outside and dropped a heavy stone on her toe. She cried and cried until I brought her in, put Olivia in her lap, and then tended to the toe. Olivia kept her happy and occupied so she didn't notice the pain anymore. Good for kitty!
In the evening Tirzah and Ashley, the two girls who came in with me first, wanted to sleep on the floor in the room with the kittens--I'm afraid the girls got to sleep very late because it was so much fun watching them!
When you have a moment, could you please send me the photos you took yesterday? Thank you.
And thank you also for your assistance in finding just the right pets! I'm sure they will be happy with us.

Animalkind Inc.is a not-for-profit welfare, protection, rescue, rights organization dedicated to the compassionate care and humane population control of abandoned, feral and stray cats in Hudson, New York (Columbia County) and the surrounding area. We promote non-lethal prevention of an unwanted litter or litters of kittens through trap, spay, neuter, release (return), (tnr, TNR). An altered cat or kitten is released into a managed colony. Felines living in such colonies are assured kind daily care. Adoption to homes providing love and care for cats and kittens is encouraged. We also provide low or no cost spaying and neutering assistance to low income pet owners and help increase public awareness and education through the media, special events, and publications to promote compassion, respect, and kindness towards all animals.
