Subject: Mocha happy at home!
Hi I'm Victoria and I adopted Mocha the other day at animalkind! I just wanted to let you know we are so happy with her. She is playful and affectionate and so soft and silky to pet. she has met her "big sister" Cookie the dog and they seem to be tolerating each other. Cookie is bored by Mocha and Mocha is curious about Cookie. So far so good! I will be taking her to the vet next week to get her rabies shot, frontline, and looked over. She sleeps on the bed with us and during the day when we are not in the room she has taken to napping under the bed and coming out when we come in the room. she has just begun to explore the rest of the house. she uses her litter box faithfully (hooray!) Thanks so much for uniting me with the kitty I have dreamed of for so long! I will send some pictures as soon as i upload them.
My mom wants to get her cats micro-chipped and wanted to come to you. Also my sister wants to adopt a young cat or kitten in a few months for her son when they move into their new house.
Thanks again animalkind! will send pics soon.
Victoria, Mario, Orion, Cookie, and Mocha

Animalkind Inc.is a not-for-profit welfare, protection, rescue, rights organization dedicated to the compassionate care and humane population control of abandoned, feral and stray cats in Hudson, New York (Columbia County) and the surrounding area. We promote non-lethal prevention of an unwanted litter or litters of kittens through trap, spay, neuter, release (return), (tnr, TNR). An altered cat or kitten is released into a managed colony. Felines living in such colonies are assured kind daily care. Adoption to homes providing love and care for cats and kittens is encouraged. We also provide low or no cost spaying and neutering assistance to low income pet owners and help increase public awareness and education through the media, special events, and publications to promote compassion, respect, and kindness towards all animals.
