Letters

From Barbara - 28 Jul 2008

Hi Denise,

Well, things are fine with our two new family members. They had free run of the house this weekend while we were home and are no longer confined to the bedroom. My other two cats have been fine with them, even playing together with the toy mice. I had a big piece of brown wrapping paper which I put on the floor. They all love to play hide and seek under and around the paper.

I can't believe how much Garfunkel looks like Carlo! Makes you wonder where little black Mano came from! I can't tell you how much we've grown to love these two in just a short time. We are starting to train them, though, to keep off the stove and counter when I'm cooking. They know there's food around, and they will eat anything, anytime! We have four separate dishes at feeding time, but Carlo will finish his and then see who else's food is available. We have to keep an eye on him - we already have one 17 lb. cat! I'll keep in touch, and you should have pictures coming soon.

All the best,
Barbara
