Hi Katrin, Chadwick & Tina,
We love Be Be! Her name is now Princess Phoebe. She just looks like a Phoebe and she acts like a little princess. She keeps clawing and licking at that one long wound nearest her neck and got it really good yesterday. So, we clipped her claws, cleaned her up and I made a vet appointment for Wednesday if it doesn't start to look a lot better. The other wounds are coming along very nicely and I am giving her kitty Omega-3 oil for her skin and hair. She and Greylock are doing very well! Yesterday, they touched noses and she licked his paw (he pulled back in surprise). Last night, they shared the bed, after he told her where she could sleep! She is VERY playful and acts younger than Greylock, who is 2. They play tag and ambush each other. She LOVES my 92 year old Mom and likes to rub cheeks and give kisses to whoever she decides is deserving.
Will send pictures soon.

Animalkind Inc.is a not-for-profit welfare, protection, rescue, rights organization dedicated to the compassionate care and humane population control of abandoned, feral and stray cats in Hudson, New York (Columbia County) and the surrounding area. We promote non-lethal prevention of an unwanted litter or litters of kittens through trap, spay, neuter, release (return), (tnr, TNR). An altered cat or kitten is released into a managed colony. Felines living in such colonies are assured kind daily care. Adoption to homes providing love and care for cats and kittens is encouraged. We also provide low or no cost spaying and neutering assistance to low income pet owners and help increase public awareness and education through the media, special events, and publications to promote compassion, respect, and kindness towards all animals.
