Letter From Adriana Lanier - 23 Feb 2009

Hi there.

Finally, I have pictures of Bear and Munchkin…had to wake them up but it worked…they stayed long enough for a picture! These pictures are about two weeks old…they already look a little bigger. It’s been hard to take pictures of them while they are fully awake—they think the camera is a toy and keep jumping at it.

They continue to do very well and really enjoy each others company. Out of our three older cats, Nikki (female, 9yrs) seems really taken with them. She’ll follow them around, play with them, and even groom them. I think she’s thrilled to finally have “friends” since the other two girls are a little tough on her.

The boys, Trevor and Logan, love taking care of Bear and Munchkin and surprisingly haven’t tired of playing with them—they are really affectionate kittens.

I think I will finally have a lap cat after all!

I’ll keep you posted with their progress. Hope all is well.

Adriana Lanier (Troy, NY) .

Felines living in such colonies are assured kind daily care.  Adoption to  homes providing love and care for cats and kittens is encouraged.   We also provide low or no cost spaying and neutering assistance to low income pet owners and help increase public awareness and education through the media, special events, and publications to promote compassion, respect, and kindness towards all animals.
