Thanks for keeping me on your newsletter list. It's so good to hear of the wonderful work that is being carried out by animal kind. What a wonderful story about Ralphie! I am going to be donating next week to that fund. What a great idea! If I lived closer I would be working for you. :) I think the Humane Society should offer what you guys do... first vet care free and spay and neuter. You really can't get any better than that. I am going to introduce those ideas to organizations around here if you wouldn't mind.
You see tons of cats come in every day I am sure, but I had a cat I got from you who was all white with one black dot (now she is all white) with one blue and one green eye. I believe she was called dot her sister with two green eyes and the same basic markers was named 'spot.' They were found in an abandoned building. I still have her 'baby picture,' that you have when they were first found. I always wondered if the abandoned building was like the one you related to in your stories in the latest newsletters. I always wondered 'where she came from.' She's literally the most wonderful cat we've ever had. The love and purrs she excudes can make ANYthing better. :) We're even considering making her a therapy kitty (well at the very least she's Our therapy kitty :)! :) If you happen to remember her let me know. I know you have a lot of stuff happen in a day. She's now 1 1/2 years old. :) Her 'husband,' Buddy is the same age. He came from a farm in NY. They get along like bread and butter.
Have a great day and good luck with the fundraising and raising of awareness in the local community and beyond. I'll keep bragging about you guys :)
-- Take care,

Animalkind Inc.is a not-for-profit welfare, protection, rescue, rights organization dedicated to the compassionate care and humane population control of abandoned, feral and stray cats in Hudson, New York (Columbia County) and the surrounding area. We promote non-lethal prevention of an unwanted litter or litters of kittens through trap, spay, neuter, release (return), (tnr, TNR). An altered cat or kitten is released into a managed colony. Felines living in such colonies are assured kind daily care. Adoption to homes providing love and care for cats and kittens is encouraged. We also provide low or no cost spaying and neutering assistance to low income pet owners and help increase public awareness and education through the media, special events, and publications to promote compassion, respect, and kindness towards all animals.
