Letter From Amy Drahushuk - 24 Mar 2009

Hi Katrin,

It is Amy Drahushuk, I adopted Laverne on Sunday, March 22 and just wanted to let you know that she has adapted very well to our home. She has met many people and loved them all. She is the most friendly and lovable cat I have ever met. I am so glad to have had this opportunity to make her part of our home. My son, who is 14, loves her. He was very surprised when we brought her home but it was a happy surprise.

I left a message on the answering machine at Animalkind in regards to Laverne and her bathroom habits (she was urinating in the litter box but not having bowel movements) Ignore that message as all is well and she is now using the litterbox on a regular basis.

I do have one question for you. Is it possible for us to change her name? We wanted to rename her Mia which is a name that my son picked out. Please let me know and if it is, please let me know if there is anything I need to do record wise to make it official.

Again, thank you so much for this opportunity and for allowing us to bring Laverne (Mia) into our home.

Sincerely,

Amy Drahushuk.
