Hi Katrin,
Just wanted to drop you a quick e-mail updating you on the ferrel barn cats that I recently adopted. They are doing wonderful and have adapted to their new home. Amber (orange cat) is very content to just hang around in the barn and enjoys watching from the rafters. She is the more apt to hang around when people are around. Oreo (black and white) figured out very quickly how to get in and out of the barn between the walls when the doors are closed. He is more of an adventurer and enjoys stalking his prey in the woods and brush around the farm. Livingston the grey tabby we adopted about 2 years ago had is nose out of joint when the new cats arrived. He comes around the barn when I'm there and has moved into the shed. He has become more comfortable around us since the new cats have arrived. There haven't been any fights and all seems well.
Thank you for 2 more wonderful Barn kitties.
Barbara Rau .

We promote non-lethal prevention of an unwanted litter or litters of kittens through trap, spay, neuter, release (return), (tnr, TNR). An altered cat or kitten is released into a managed colony. Felines living in such colonies are assured kind daily care. Adoption to homes providing love and care for cats and kittens is encouraged. We also provide low or no cost spaying and neutering assistance to low income pet owners and help increase public awareness and education through the media, special events, and publications to promote compassion, respect, and kindness towards all animals.
