Letters

From James G - 24 May 2004

Hello.

I'm James.  I've stumbled across your site while looking for pictures of kittens and I just wanted to say that I wish you all the best luck in finding those poor animals homes.  I don't think any animal deserves to die, and I just wanted to tell you that you're all doing a noble cause in saving those animals.

I have two cats, myself, and once had another. Marmalade. He got killed in the street.. run over a few months ago and ever since then his passing has made me really think of what a great influence pets can be in our lives. We don't even think to take note of it and give our eternally-faithful pets an extra pat or scratch their ears where their paws can't quite reach.

It's people like you that make me believe that animals do have a chance, even though fast-paced, arrogant humans tend to forget about these friendly critters. Keep up the good work, don't give up, and take time to give one of the up-for-adoption pets a few extra pats. The pet will experience a world of difference just knowing that you care.

Thanks for taking your time to read this.

~James
