Rescued from the bitter
cold
A
family lost their home, leaving their 12
(unaltered) cats behind in Westerlo NY (southern
Albany County) with no heat. A snow storm was on
the way and temperatures fell below 20 when
Animalkind received a call for
help.
We simply could not say
no.
All
12 cats rescued from the abandoned home are
affectionate and ready to be adopted.
Abandonment of
felines in our current
economy is happening too often and many
people have the false belief that cats can survive
on their own. This leads to many, many felines
suffering and dying. Pets accustomed
to relying on humans for care will not make it on
their own, especially in harsh weather
conditions.
Please
DONATE NOW to help us help
those forgotten felines and end suffering for so
many others that are left homeless. Adopt
one of these
kitties! ____________________________________________________________________

Happy Adoption: Dear
Animalkind, Just had to send you
this photo of our wonderful kitten, Emma
which we adopted from Animalkind. I think she
really adopted us.
Fell in love with her at
first sight and brought her home and my husband
fell for her just as hard. She entertains us and
keeps us laughing daily. She retrieves her stuffed
mice toys for my husband and he says she's like a
mini Labrador retriever. She is so affectionate
and loves to sit on our laps and curl up with us
at night or whenever she can find an available
lap. Emme
enjoying the feather boa. "Girls just gotta have
fun". Thank you so much to Animalkind for rescuing
this dear, dear kitten and so many others like
her. I wish we could adopt more but we have
another cat, our Jasmine, as well so we are at our
quota. I am recommending Animalkind to anyone I
can talk to about going there to find a cat or
kitten to love. You do a wonderful service for all
of us animal lovers and I will continue to support
your
cause!! ______________________________________________

Animalkind Inc.is a not-for-profit welfare, protection,
rescue, rights organization dedicated to the compassionate care and humane
population control of abandoned, feral and stray cats in Hudson, New York
(Columbia County) and the surrounding area. We promote non-lethal
prevention of an unwanted litter or litters of kittens through trap, spay,
neuter, release (return), (tnr, TNR). An altered cat or kitten is released
into a managed colony. Felines living in such colonies are assured kind daily
care. Adoption to homes providing love and care for cats and kittens
is encouraged. We also provide low or no cost spaying and neutering
assistance to low income pet owners and help increase public awareness and
education through the media, special events, and publications to promote
compassion, respect, and kindness towards all animals.
