Eastie - 12 May 2005

Eastie was a senior kitty, brought to us by her owner who moved and claimed not be able to take Westi ( Eastie's sister) and Eastie with her.

Often when older cats are given up they get depressed and it is much harder on them to adjust to a new environment.

Eastie was a loving cat. She loved our attention and to be petted and brushed. Eastie purred and was happy to see of us. When her sister was adopted and we think Eastie missed her. Until her last day she was loving and affectionate and had no signs of illness.

She passed on to heaven in her sleep. Eastie captured all of our hearts since she was so sweet and loving and we always have a soft spot for the senior kitties who, after a long life are being abandoned by their guardians. Eastie is buried in our beautiful garden, where she can smell the flowers and watch the birds.
