Kay Kay came to Animalkind an older cat. Unfortunately he did not adjust well to not having his own home at his older age. Kay Kay stopped eating and in spite of loving efforts, he gave up on life and was humanely euthanized. Kay Kay stays in our hearts forever, in memory of all the older cats given up who don't make it.
Rainbow came to Animalkind as a stray. She was an older girl, very thin and with a thyroid problem we discovered. In spite of treatment, Rainbow's condition had been untreated for too long while she was on the streets by herself. She died peacefully at Animalkind. She was a sweet sould and will stay in our herats forever.
