Animalkind was contacted about a situation where 10 kittens and three adults were spotted sitting on a road - many with their eyes glued shut due to eye infections - with no food or water or shelter. The cats were being chased and harassed by an unleashed neighborhood dog.

We rushed to the site in Freehold, NY, right away.

Within 3 days we finally got all 10 of the suffering animals.

Now the kittens are in a foster home where they receive medical attention and lots of TLC daily .

UPDATE - 08 Nov 2010

One of the rescued kitties, who has been given the name Mandu, has built up his strength nicely and is now ready for his permanent home.
