Phoenix Becomes Sweet William

Animalkind received a phone call from a worker at a "no-kill" shelter, advising that a cat deemed to be "unadoptable" because he did not like to be picked up.  Animalkind pulled him from the shelter and took him to the vet for tests, neutering and vaccination.  Turns out, he was already neutered and the test for feline leukemia was negative.  After vaccinations, he was brought to our "adoption center" and has turned out to be a loving and gentle creature, and gets along fine with his fellow cats.  Phoenix is an older cat, but ever so sweet.

After three months in our Adoption Center, Phoenix was selected for adoption because of his beauty and affectionate personality. His new adopter has re-named him "Sweet William" and reported back to us that within only one day, this cat became the most affectionate and loving companion and is developing a friendly relationship with the adopter's two active dogs. The adopter says that even the housekeeper has been delighted with Sweet William.
