Rescue Actions - What We Do Every Day
June 25, 2013
Two kittens were spotted at the New York State Thruway Exit 21 entrance by a driver entering the Thruway.
The temperature was 90 degrees and the two kittens were in the full sun, extremely sick and weak. The distraught driver brought the kittens right away to Animalkind. At Animalkind, we assumed that there would possibly be other kittens at the same location. Sure enough, after driving back to the Thruway entrance, two more were found!
All kittens were dehydrated, sick and hungry; yet all appeared to be very friendly. This means that it is very likely that some human had had prolonged contact with the little kittens, but then simply tossed them out of the car, leaving them to endure severe suffering and painful deaths.
All are now safe with Animalkind, receiving
fluids and medications and food. Our prognosis is that they all will
survive, but the medical bills are running high. Please donate to help
us helping the forgotten felines.
Please donate to Animalkind NOW, so we can provide needed care for animals who are suffering and in need of help.
