Please congratulate Premier McGuinty of Ontario on his new legislation that will protect half of the Northern Boreal, and remind him to follow through on his other commitments to our forests.

INFORMATION

The Ontario government has made good on its promise to introduce legislation that will protect half of the Northern Boreal! In addition to moving beyond the old, destructive way of doing business, the legislation calls for land use planning in the remaining 50% of the region.

Please congratulate Premier McGuinty on his new legislation, and remind him to follow through on his other commitments. Legislation is only the first step in ensuring that this region is truly protected. Look for more action alerts and opportunities to get involved in the coming months.
