It's time to end 30 years of Prof. Owen Floody drilling holes into the skulls of female hamsters, damaging their brains to "observe the injuries' effects on the hamsters' sexual behavior." End this now.

In response to a complaint submitted by PETA, the U.S. Department of Agriculture investigated cruel experiments on hamsters at Bucknell University and cited the school for two violations of the federal Animal Welfare Act.

PETA was told about the experiments by a concerned Bucknell University alumnus and found that for 30 years, Prof. Owen Floody has been drilling holes into the skulls of female hamsters, damaging their brains, and observing the injuries' effects on the hamsters' sexual behavior. The animals are killed at the end of the experiments, and their brains are dissected. Floody even has his undergraduate students help torment animals in these experiments in his physiological psychology course.

PETA has already expressed its concerns to Bucknell and is now calling on you to help end these experiments. Please contact Bucknell University officials and politely ask them to end the experiments on hamsters and implement humane, non-animal teaching methods, which are readily available and used in physiological psychology courses at other universities.

Thank you for everything you do for animals!
