INFORMATION

The Bush administration plan that Salazar approved was legally misguided and scientifically flawed. Just last month, a federal judge ruled that the wolf delisting was almost certainly illegal under the Endangered Species Act and that Defenders of Wildlife and its allies will likely prevail in their legal challenge to wolf delisting.

Entire wolf packs in the Greater Yellowstone and northern Rockies region are being stalked and killed. More than 60 wolves have already been killed in the Greater Yellowstone and northern Rockies region since wolf hunts began in Idaho and Montana.
