For decades Butterball has promoted their products and provided website and phone information for people to get “tips and techniques” about how to best prepare their turkeys for holiday “celebrations.”

Let’s stuff their lines with our savory calls of compassion.

Let Butterball know why YOU love turkeys.

INFORMATION / TALKING POINTS

To see how turkeys are "produced” please watch these videos. Over 52 million turkeys will be slaughtered for American holiday “celebrations.”

Turkey Hatchery Babies
(05:09) Compassion Over Killing (COK) investigative video shows that from the moment they are hatched in metal incubators, turkeys are submerged in a world of misery. Dumped out of metal trays and jostled onto conveyor belts after being mechanically separated from cracked egg shells, the newly-hatched turkeys are tossed around like inanimate objects—they are sorted, sexed, de-beaked, de-toed, and in some cases de-snooded (the snood hangs over the beaks of male turkeys) before they are packed up and shipped off to a facility where they will be fattened for slaughter.

Turkey "Factory Farming"
(04:56) PETA undercover investigation September through November 2008. Blatant, unimaginable cruelty is condoned by supervisors. If you eat turkeys, you support the abuses in this video.

Thank you for everything you do for animals!
