Our native wildlife are national treasures not to be squandered. Please use your power to defeat and/or veto Senate Bill 36 First Substitute.

Wolves should be allowed to return to their natural and native role in the circle of life in Utah. With the presence of wolves, deer and elk populations become more vigorous. Utah's ecosystem will flourish. Studies show that when wolves are present, cottonwoods, willows, grasses and other native vegetation thrive. That means more habitat for beavers, song birds, and other species.

Not only are wolves important in their ecosystems, they are a huge magnet for tourists and associated wildlife-watching expenditures such as hotels, restaurants, and outdoor gear. People have flocked to view wolves by the hundreds of thousands in the Northern Rocky Mountains. I want to witness the majesty of a wolf in Utah.
