Thank Ritz-Carlton For Canceling Carriage-Horse RidesFROM From Friends of Animals Ritz-Carlton Central Park cancelled its “Central Park Fairytale”— a horse carriage package deal being marketed to guests. After being alerted by Friends of Animals and the Coalition to Ban Horse-Drawn Carriages in New York City, the hotel stopped promoting the tour and vowed to eschew carriage rides in the future. CONTACT Ritz-Carlton Central Park INFORMATION / TALKING POINTS Regardless of the treatment they receive or the conditions in which they are housed, horses don’t belong on city streets. If you are planning a special occasion or trip to New York City, keep the Ritz-Carlton in mind. Thank you for everything you do for animals! |
