In a historic move, the federal government released a proposal that would create more than 70,000 square miles of critical habitat - a long-term “safe zone” - for Pacific leatherback sea turtles off the coast of Washington, Oregon and California.

Support this proposal and ask the federal government to expand this historic protection to cover all the critical areas of the Pacific. 70,000 square miles of safe passage is a huge and important step in the right direction, but we can do even more.
