Tell Cheyenne Tribune-Eagle to Report Rodeo Abuses

Tell the Cheyenne Tribune-Eagle editor and publisher to start acting like journalists and stop being lackeys for rodeo animal abusers.
INFORMATION / TALKING POINTS
While the Tribune-Eagle stubbornly avoided the story of the horse injured in the wild horse race (watch Horse Injured at 2010 Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo), as well as all the other injury victims, their featured story of the day was an atrocious piece glorifying the abusers who are contestants in the disgusting wild horse races!
This kind of sleazy interference with the way the media is supposed to work demonstrates the power of the rodeo mafia, as well as the paper thin ethics of the media in this area. For a people who pretend that they live by some trumped up "cowboy code," all I see is a lot of cruel, cowardly and paranoid people who obviously know deep down that the only way they can succeed is to use foul thug tactics.
Let's let the Cheyenne Tribune-Eagle know that true news organizations report the news with accuracy and balance, wherever that leads. The newspaper has always had a heavy bias toward the rodeo, but it at least reported some of the negative stories also, and at times even encouraged positive change through its editorial comments.
Thank you for everything you do for animals!
