Tell Your Representative to Ban Sales of Crush VideosFROM The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) ACTION Contact your Representative Rick and tell them to vote YES on H.R. 5566 to end cruel crush videos, and do all you can to get this bill enacted quickly. How to contact your Representative INFORMATION / TALKING POINTS On September 28m, 2010, the U.S. Senate unanimously approved legislation (H.R. 5566, as amended) to ban the sale of cruel animal "crush" videos. These sick films feature women in high-heeled shoes impaling, crushing, stomping or smothering small animals for the titillation of viewers. The legislation now goes back to the House to act on the Senate-passed version. The House approved it overwhelmingly in July by a vote of 416-3. Thank you for everything you do for animals! |
