A simple statement of your support for the creation of the Everglades Headwaters National Wildlife Refuge and Conservation Area is all that’s needed to help save the Florida Panther, as well as other wildlife species in our state.

Hunters, anglers, and ATV operators are all vehemently opposed to the creation of this refuge for fear it may limit their access.

INFORMATION / TALKING POINTS

Officials of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services have been hosting public meetings throughout the state to gather public input. They have been surprised to see crowds of more than 600 people voicing strong opposition to this plan.

Hunters, anglers, and ATV operators are all vehemently opposed to the creation of this refuge for fear it may limit their access. USFWS has extended the comment period until March 31 in order to hear from constituents like you.
