Tell the YMCA that attending rodeos only teaches children that cruelty toward animals is acceptable.

SHARK was appalled to see the YMCA bringing children to the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo (CFD) last year. Exposing children to these types of events leads them to believe that cruelty to animals is acceptable.

SHARK sent the YMCA President and Chief Executive Officer, Neil J. Nicoll a letter - by email, fax and U.S. Mail. SHARK Investigator Janet Enoch has discussed this issue with the assistant to Nicoll and yet they are refusing to address this issue.

We have tried to keep this matter private to give them a chance to deal with the local branch about this, but the YMCA has done nothing but stonewall, so we have no choice than to make this public.
