ACTION

The peninsula of Macau is the home of the infamous Canidrome. Hundreds of greyhounds suffer injuries and die there every year. Albano Martins, head of ANIMA, Macau's only animal protection society, has had several meetings with both government and track officials. Read Monday's story in the Macau Post Daily now. Albano has now asked for your help in writing to Macau's Chief Executive (President) and pressing him to force the Canidrome to start releasing dogs to his group.

INFORMATION / TALKING POINTS

Eight months ago, we launched the Rescue Brooklyn campaign, joining hands with groups around the world to force China's only greyhound track to institute a greyhound adoption program. We specifically asked for the immediate release of Brooklyn, a dog our board member Charmaine Settle had seen while investigating the track.

Today, we bring you some initial good news.
