Tell the Canadian federal, provincial and local governments to revoke the required building permits and uphold the legal protections the toads are required to receive under Ontario's Endangered Species Act!

INFORMATION / TALKING POINTS
The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources has giving developers free rein to "damage and destroy" Fowler's Toad habitat at Crystal Beach on the shores of Lake Erie, and permission to "harm, harass, kill, and collect the toads". The Molinaro Group of developers want to build a 12-story condominium and shopping complex on Fowler's Toad habitat in the town of Fort Erie, Ontario.
The toads are protected under Ontario's Endangered Species Act, and the construction of the unnecessary building would undoubtedly cause irreparable harm to the toad population. To make matters worse, the Ontario government completely disregarded our comments and failed to change even a single line of the permitting requirements, effectively giving the toads their death sentence.
