From Keari - 18 Feb 2004 Our Spanish teacher told us about bull fighting she personally enjoyed it but I was in disgust. I couldn't believe people cheered the man on to kill that poor creature. My teacher was saying they kill cows and things and we eat them but they are killed quick and painlessly. It must be torture for the bull to be running around tired just to survive and he does it all for nothing because in the end they stab him in the back. and the fact that they try and pierce as many of those weapons in him as possible. I just think the whole concept is inhuman. From Keari Reply from Frank L. Hoffman Dear Keari: Thank you for your compassionate letter about the horrors of bullfighting. You are mistaken about cows, however. From everything we learned, most of them suffer a great deal before they finally die. There really is no such thing as humane slaughter.
