I was heartbroken after reading about this and wrote a few letters already to Brazil to some higher up political people. This is a crime, a sin, to torture poor animals for no reason. Calling it a tradition or a festival? I think these people are out of their minds, plain and simple; they are cannibals. It is the saddest thing I ever read about in my life.

I will pray every night that this stops.
