Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Kathy - 20 Apr 2004
I just stumbled on your web site. My heart is aching!!! I pray every night to God to please take care of the animals that are being tortured along with children, also. I feel a tremendous ache in my heart when I even think about this. The pictures on your web page shocked me. I didn't even think that some of these acts actually take place, especially in the Philippines where they break the dogs’ shoulders and pin their arms behind their backs and put that can on their face. Oh my goodness. I almost started crying.
What can we do? I feel so helpless about it all. When I pray at night I always say, “God, my little prayer doesn't seem to be much good, when there is so much abuse going on in the world to animals and children. PLEASE help those little innocent creatures. And if my prayer makes one person stop and really look into the eyes of the animals they’re abusing and never does it again, my little prayer is worth it. Amen.”
But there is so much of it out there. What can a person do about it? People are going to continue doing it. Those poor dogs being eaten, skinned, and whatever else they do over there in Korea, or wherever it is. They seem to drag the dog’s death on and on and on. It’s not fair. The people doing it to them wouldn't like it if they were being skinned alive. Oh, my God, I can't even think about this anymore. I am going to freak. All I can do is keep praying and praying with all my heart and hope that some day it will stop.
Thank you so much for your web site and I hope that more people come across it. Please, if you have any ideas to help with this terrible thing let me know.

Thank you very much for your email and prayers.
Our efforts to end animal cruelty are far from hopeless; and people will stop causing the suffering when public opinion turns against them, which it is starting to do.
Besides your prayers, which we know God hears, spread the word of the suffering of animals to as many other people as you can, and ask them to join you. You can also refer them to our web site so that they can see for themselves.
In the Love of the Lord,
