From Mira Word - 21 Apr 2004 Dear Fellow Horse Lovers, I just looked at your sight and thought the photos were horrifying!! I cant believe that people are this cruel and heartless!!! I have a TB gelding that I got off the track. He was abused and scared. But with three years of training and care he has turned out to be a wonderful dressage horse! It's amazing what a little love can do! I now show him 2nd level dressage and he is doing beautifully! I am so glad that there are people that are trying to put a stop to the senseless slaughtering. How many slaughterhouses are in the US? I just don't understand how people could work there and see first hand how horrible the situation really is. These people are evil!! I would like to sponsor a horse or donkey and help in any way possible. Thanks for your time, Mira Word Reply from Frank L. Hoffman Dear Mira: Thank you for your letter and for your compassionate and encouraging comments. The best way to help stop these atrocities is to peacefully and politely turn public opinion against the people and businesses that do these things by telling as many other people as you can and by asking them to do the same. You can also refer them to our web site so that they can see for themselves. In the Love of the Lord, Frank Return to Visitors' Comments |
