Moo-ving people toward compassionate living
From Jessica - 1 Oct 2004
I stumbled upon your site while researching information on banning the use of animal-tested on makeup products. Before I knew it, I had been on the site for about an hour, and I couldn't believe what I was seeing.
Dogs are my weak spot; abuse towards them (or any animal, for that matter) is not an option with me, and I strongly oppose those who find it ok. I cried for the longest time after seeing those helpless creatures with their arms behind their backs. Is it really human nature to be so heartless?
If we live in a world that supposedly applies religion to every aspect of life, then what is that saying about our acts towards animals? I don't understand this.
I haven't attended a circus since I was 7, after I realized the terrible behind-the-scenes behavior that was REALLY going on. And now, after seeing this site, I don't think I could even force myself to eat any sort of meat product whatsoever from now on.
Thank you for opening my eyes to what's really happening here.

Thank you very much for writing to us. We appreciate your comments very much.
The future of our world rests in the compassionate hearts of young people like you.
Our religions have unfortunately become hard of heart, particularly where it comes to animal suffering. If they would speak out against the abuse, it would most likely end. But for now, the task of informing the public rests with people like you and us. You're a perfect example of how spreading the truth about animal cruelty can help to bring it to an end.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
